1. Christmas Eve family hot pot. 2. Evie making our house guest welcome. Two puppies makes for very interesting stories, don't let those faces fool you. 3. Husband's homemade french onion soup. (yes, I'm spoiled) 4. Our first Christmas meal as a mr. & mrs. (pot roast, scalloped potatoes, and corn on the cob). 5. Our first snow. 6. Back to work. With a positive message and a hot cup of chai tea latte. 7. Fuzzy socks and festive PJs, the perfect way to enjoy the holidays. 8. An Evie under the Christmas tree. Her current favorite place. Too bad the tree will be coming down soon, hoping she forgets.

Fab Find Friday.

Line App for iPhone. My friend sent me an invite, I downloaded it, and now I'm hooked. :) Not only does it allow for free text and calling, but it has ridiculously cute "stickers" that you can send. Not gonna lie, little things do amuse me ... I am twenty .... upper twenties and don't have kids yet but I love interactive apps. Think of it as cute-cartoony animals-texting-and-bejeweled all wrapped up in one. The little games that you can download definitely help to pass the time.

I've been a craftin'

December is a busy month. Aside from this little thing called Christmas, I have a couple friends with birthdays in December. So as not to break the bank and to also make sure they don't feel slightly jipped with birthday/christmas lumped together gifts. I decided on some cute personalized gift ideas. One of which I made for one of my close girlfriends. She loves her little furbabies as much as I do, so I tried a pinterest post ... with some modifications.

 

 



Love these DIY mugs. I'm going to be making one for myself and my parents too. Great, cheap, yet thoughtful and fun stocking stuffer.

Fab Find Friday.

I feel ... that structure is in some ways a good thing. It allows me to stay focused and stick to my goals. Not gonna lie, I kinda sorta have the attention span of a 2 year old. So to help me continue blogging I am officially dubbing Fridays ... Fab Find Fridays. It's pretty broad and can range anywhere from clothes, to make up, to recipes, to deals, to fantastic DIYs and even books and shows. See where I'm going with this. Not to mention along with my very -short- attention span, with the millions of things that go through my mind at any given moment I'd love to have a place that I can go to remember what I just found. And my post-it notes are doing a terrible job. So, here goes...

Today's wonderful find is this super cute dress from one of my favorite online stores (modcloth.com). How cute is this dress? It's a simple dress but the small accents make this a pretty adorable and versatile fall/winter dress. And yes I have dropped it into my shopping cart and typed in my credit card info and now sit patiently (ok, impatiently) waiting for its wondrous arrival at my front door.

Better warn the hubs ... I can see different variations lining our closet in the future ... or some other gems I've got my eye on. Did I mention I kinda sorta ♥ this site?

Hello December. Hello Blogger.

So, my husband set forth a challenge and a much needed push for that matter. To start a blog ... and stick with it. (Hello new year's resolution)

 

For years I have sat in utter admiration at all the lovely lady (and gentlemen) bloggers out there. I was (am) envious of how freely they were able to speak their mind and how I hung on their every word. My day would be complete with each new post they conjured up and I always wanted to be them. But the fear of putting myself out there for all the world to see (and judge) was pretty terrifying to say the least. And really .. who am I? Why would anyone want to read about me? But my loving husband (bless his heart) has pushed me to belive that I do have something to say. So why not post it for all to see and who knows, maybe someone somewhere is thinking or experiencing the same thing I am and may even benefit from one of my random great finds. So get ready blogger world. Here I am. And even if I get only one reader, I will be happy as a clam.

This is a blog about me. My life as a newly wed. My journey to becoming the 21st century version of Suzy Homemaker and my crazy DIYs, fashions, and finds along the way. But mainly this is a blog about us. The Wons ... -nudge nudge- .. get it? United as "WON" ... (pronounced one .. in korean). Cleaver I know. Stick around there will be plenty more of that to come.
