Week in Photos

 

 

In no particular order.

 

1. After the 2 consecutive days of fog, a little sunlight finally made a rather welcome appearance. 2. Homemade Udon noodles for lunch. Super easy. Super quick. :) 3. Lovely thai ice tea (absolute addiction). With a much needed night out with the girlfriends. Perfect nights of non-stop talking only to realize we are the only ones left in the restaurant and the staff are beginning to clean up for the night. 4. Convinced the husband to go shoe shopping. And no idea why but I am in love with these neon colors. 5. Being the good wife, and since he went shoe shopping, I spent some QT with the husband and went golfing with him and the brother-in-law. (Granted my idea of golf is to drive the cart, but good times nonetheless) 6. What got me through my late nights at the office this week ... sugar and H2O. 7. Finally tried the Gel nail polish set that I got for Christmas. LOVE! On the hunt for more colors now. 8. Of course can't have a photo post without at least one from my little munchkin. AH! I ♥ her face!

Fab Find Friday.

This find is not all too new, and really I've seen it everywhere. But today they are a fab find. Because it is MY first time using them and I'm glad I did. I have pretty skinny long nail beds so those wonderful stick on nails you see at the store never quite looked right on me. So I guess a mixture of a few broken nails that resulted in me having to cut my nails short, a random sale at Gap, and potentially being late to a girl friend's birthday dinner. I decided to try these out.

These were super easy! AND took me literally 5 minutes to do.

Fab Find Friday.

I've been searching near and far for a non liquid/gel eye liner that I could love and call my new bff. Afterall eye liner on monolids is a nightmare. For those that don't know, the wrong eye liner can leave you looking like a panda. And although it may look good on them, that is not the case for me.

Today I have found my new bff ... say hello to MAC's Powerpoint eye pencil.

After several hard rubs to test it's "smear-ability" (I realize that isn't a real word) I can safely say that it has indeed passed the test. The line faded a little bit, but the true test was to see if it strays far from it's path. And ... SUCCESS! It still remained a solid line.

Ringing in the New Year!

This year we opted for a quiet New Years celebration. Which I have to say has been the best one thus far. Because I got to spend it with the hubbs. With loads of firsts. First New Years in our house, as a mr & mrs and with our little Evie. It's been a good year, and I know 2013 will be just as amazing. Happy 2013!
